The route runs east from Nice Côte d'Azur along the seafront and onto the Basse Corniche (the M6098), the lowest of the three corniche roads that hug the shoreline past Villefranche-sur-Mer toward Beaulieu. It's roughly 15 kilometres and usually takes about 30 minutes, though the stretch through Nice and the Port area can slow in high season. The road is scenic but not alpine: expect gentle coastal bends and views over the bays rather than steep mountain switchbacks. The final approach into Beaulieu narrows as you reach the marina and the compact town centre. At peak times, drivers sometimes cut inland to the A8 motorway to skip Nice traffic, then drop back down to the coast near Beaulieu.

Beaulieu's centre and marina area has narrow one-way streets, so give your driver the exact hotel or apartment name; many small hotels sit on lanes where a car can only pause briefly to unload. If you're staying near the Villa Kérylos or the Baie des Fourmis, note the road ends at pedestrian zones, and the last stretch may be on foot. During the Monaco Grand Prix in late May and around major events, coastal traffic through Villefranche backs up badly, so allow extra time. The train from Beaulieu-sur-Mer station reaches Monaco in under ten minutes and Nice in about fifteen, which is worth knowing if you plan day trips without a car. Confirm your pickup point at the airport terminal in advance, as arrivals split across Terminals 1 and 2.
