The route from Comiso Airport heads inland first, skirting Ragusa before dropping south toward the sea, usually via the SP25 corridor through open farmland dotted with the dry-stone walls and carob trees typical of the Ragusa countryside. It is a short trip, roughly half an hour, mostly on well-surfaced provincial roads rather than motorway. The last stretch runs gently downhill toward the coast, and the approach into town is straightforward, without the tight hairpins you'd meet reaching hilltop Baroque towns. As you near Marina di Ragusa the road opens onto the seafront grid of low streets leading to the beach and marina. Summer weekend traffic near the lungomare is the main thing that can add a few minutes.

Give your driver a specific address rather than just "Marina di Ragusa": the seafront is a grid and the marina, the central Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi and the beach ends are each a few minutes apart. If you're staying in one of the residential streets near the port, note the street name, as many look alike. In peak summer the streets right behind the lungomare become pedestrian in the evenings, so ask to be dropped at the nearest open corner. This coast has few large hotels; most visitors rent apartments, so confirm check-in timing and who holds the keys before arrival. If your plans include Ragusa Ibla, Punta Secca or Donnalucata, mention it when booking, as these make easy add-on stops on the same corridor.
