Many apartments sit in the streets above the promenade where vehicles cannot reach the door, so agree a meeting point near the harbour or a marked square. In peak summer the Split section of the A1 can clog in the afternoon; an early or late departure avoids the worst. If you plan to visit the Biokovo Skywalk, note the mountain road has a timed-entry and vehicle limit, so it is worth arranging separately rather than expecting a spontaneous detour on the transfer.
