Private transfer from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Jesolo Lido
Door-to-door transfer from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Jesolo Lido with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Jesolo Lido is known for
Jesolo Lido runs for roughly 15 kilometres of sandy beach split into numbered zones, drawing families and a large German- and Austrian-speaking crowd from June through September. The centre of activity is Piazza Mazzini, a long pedestrian shopping street, with Piazza Marconi and Piazza Aurora nearby for evening life. Aqualandia and Caribe Bay water parks and the Sea Life aquarium keep children busy, while the club Il Muretto anchors the late-night scene. Toward the Piave river mouth sits Cortellazzo, its marina and one of Italy's tallest lighthouses. Jesolo Paese, the older town, lies a few kilometres inland and is quieter than the seafront. Golfers head to Golf Club Jesolo. Out of season much of the strip closes, so most visitors arrive in the warm months.
The drive from Marco Polo to the beach
The route leaves the airport at Tessera and heads inland across flat Veneto farmland, following the corridor toward Meolo and San Donà di Piave before turning onto the SR43 Via Jesolana, which runs straight down to the coast. Expect roughly 40 kilometres and around 45 minutes in normal traffic; there is no mountain or winding section, just level roads and river crossings over the Sile and Piave. The final approach brings you onto Jesolo's main seafront axis, where the resort is laid out as a long grid of parallel streets numbered by access point. In July and August the Via Jesolana and the entrances into the Lido can back up, especially on Saturday changeover days when weekly rentals turn over.
Practical tips for this transfer
Jesolo hotels are identified by a beach access number and a piazza rather than a simple street address, so give your driver the hotel name plus the nearest piazza (Mazzini, Marconi or Aurora) to avoid confusion along the grid. Much of the central seafront is pedestrianised in summer evenings, meaning the drop-off may be at the edge of the zone with a short walk to the door. If you are staying near Cortellazzo or in the quieter Pineta area toward the eastern end, allow a little extra time, as it sits well beyond Piazza Mazzini. A private transfer is worth it here because there is no train station in Jesolo itself; public alternatives require a bus link from Venice or a change at San Donà.
