Private transfer from Valencia Airport to Alcocéber - Alcossebre
Door-to-door transfer from Valencia Airport to Alcocéber - Alcossebre with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Alcossebre is known for
Alcossebre is the coastal part of the Alcalà de Xivert municipality in the Castellón province, and it draws mainly families and Spanish holidaymakers in July and August. The town spreads along a low, flat seafront with several distinct beaches: Playa de las Fuentes, Playa del Carregador, Playa Romana and the quieter Cala del Moro. Just south, the Serra d'Irta natural park keeps the coast undeveloped, with the Torre de Badum watchtower and rocky coves reachable on foot or by bike. There is a small marina at Las Fuentes and a compact town centre rather than a big old quarter. Golfers head inland to Panorámica Golf near Sant Jordi. The pace is calmer than nearby Peñíscola.
The drive north along the AP-7
The route runs almost entirely on motorway. From Valencia Airport at Manises you skirt the city on the ring roads and pick up the AP-7/A-7 heading north, passing Sagunto and Castellón. It is flat, fast driving through orange groves and industrial stretches, with the sea to your right most of the way. You leave the motorway around the Alcalà de Xivert exit, then take the CV-141 for the last stretch down to the coast. Only the final few kilometres slow down, running through Alcalà village and along local roads into Alcossebre's beach zones. Expect roughly 90 minutes with light traffic; the town itself has several separate entrances depending on which beach or urbanisation you are heading to.
Practical tips for this transfer
Alcossebre is spread out, so tell the driver the exact urbanisation or beach — Las Fuentes, El Carregador or Playa Romana — because the entrances are far apart and there is no single central drop-off point. If you are staying in an apartment complex, have the street name ready, as many resort roads look alike. The Alcalà de Xivert train station on the Valencia–Barcelona line sits several kilometres inland, so a road transfer is genuinely more direct than train plus taxi. In peak summer the CV roads into the beach areas get congested in late afternoon, so an earlier arrival helps. Bring water and sun protection; the seafront has little shade near the drop-off points.
