It's flat, built-up terrain the whole way, with no mountain roads or winding sections. Journeys typically take around 30 minutes, though the stretch approaching Porta Nuova and the central squares slows in the morning and evening peaks, and around match days near the stadium. The last part into the historic centre involves narrow one-way streets and several limited-traffic zones, so a driver who knows the drop-off points near Piazza Castello or Via Roma saves time.

Much of central Turin lies inside the ZTL (limited-traffic zone), which is camera-controlled on weekday mornings; a private driver drops you at the nearest permitted point rather than the exact doorstep, so pack light for the last short walk over cobbles. If you're staying near Porta Nuova, note that the station area has restricted stopping — confirm the pick-up spot in advance.
