Camping Val Saline sits on the coast just north of Rovinj, on Saline bay, a short drive from the old town crowned by St. Euphemia's church and its bell tower. It's a family-oriented site with pitches, mobile homes and direct access to a rocky, pine-shaded shoreline typical of the Istrian coast. Guests come mainly from late spring to early autumn for swimming, cycling the coastal paths, and boat trips out to the islands of St. Catherine and Red Island (Crveni otok). The Zlatni Rt (Punta Corrente) forest park and Rovinj's ACI marina are both close, and Grisia street with its galleries is an easy walk or bus ride into town. Sunsets over the harbour are the reason many return each season.

Pula Airport lies southeast of the city, so the driver first skirts Pula before joining the A9 Istrian Y motorway heading north. This is a fast, straightforward corridor through gentle inland Istria — vineyards, olive groves and low hills rather than mountains. After roughly half an hour you leave the motorway at the Rovinj exit and follow the D303 into town. The final stretch turns coastal as you pass the outskirts of Rovinj and drop down toward Saline bay, with the campsite entrance signposted along the shore road north of the centre. The whole run covers around 45 kilometres and usually takes about 50 minutes, longer in July and August when the Rovinj approach and campsite roads get busy with holiday traffic.

Val Saline is a large site, so tell your driver whether you need reception, the mobile-home zone or a pitch area — the shore road has more than one access point and the entrance is a short way north of Rovinj's centre, not in the old town itself. Rovinj's historic core is largely car-free with steep, narrow lanes, so drop-offs happen at the edge; keep that in mind if you're heading straight into town. In peak summer, arrival traffic around Rovinj slows considerably, so allow extra time if you have a booked check-in slot. If you're planning day trips to the islands, the harbour taxi-boats leave from Rovinj's waterfront, an easy walk or short local bus ride from the campsite.
