Disneyland Paris sits in Chessy, part of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée east of the capital. The resort has two theme parks — Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park — plus Disney Village and seven Disney-run hotels, from the flagship Disneyland Hotel at the park gates to the Newport Bay Club and the Santa Fe and Cheyenne properties further out. Many visitors also stay at partner hotels around Val d'Europe and the nearby Vallée Village outlet shopping centre. The crowd is overwhelmingly families with children, school groups and couples, busiest during French and UK school holidays, Christmas and summer. Val d'Europe RER station and the Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy TGV and RER A station sit within walking distance of the parks.

The route stays on motorway almost the whole way and never enters central Paris. From the airport terminals you join the A104 (the Francilienne) heading south and east, then transfer onto the A4 towards Marne-la-Vallée and the clearly signed Disneyland Paris / Val d'Europe exits. The terrain is flat, inland and suburban — farmland and new-town districts rather than countryside. Allow roughly 45 minutes outside peak hours; the usual delays come from the A104 and the A4 around Bussy-Saint-Georges in the morning and late-afternoon commuter rush. The final approach runs through the resort's own road network, which has separate turn-offs for each hotel cluster, the parking areas and Disney Village, so drivers need the exact hotel name to reach the right entrance.

Give the driver the precise hotel name, not just "Disneyland" — the resort has around a dozen on-site and partner hotels with different access roads, and arriving at the wrong one means a long walk with luggage. If you land at Terminal 1, 2 or 3, note your exact terminal in the booking, as CDG pickup points differ. A private car is especially worth it with young children, strollers and multiple suitcases, where the RER A change or the TGV connection adds hassle. For early-morning park entry, book the transfer the night before and stay the first night on-site. Many park hotels let you leave bags at reception before check-in, so an early arrival still means a full first day. Travelling back to CDG, allow extra time during holiday check-out mornings.
