Magny-le-Hongre and the Disney hotels
Magny-le-Hongre sits in the Val d'Europe development east of Paris, and most arrivals are heading for the Disney hotels built within the commune — Disney's Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne and Hotel Santa Fe all sit on or near the lakeside here, a short shuttle or walk from the parks at Chessy. The 27-hole Golf Disneyland course is also in Magny-le-Hongre, drawing players between park visits. Families make up the bulk of traffic year-round, with peaks over school holidays and summer. Beyond the resort, the town has ordinary residential streets, and the Val d'Europe shopping centre and La Vallée Village outlet in neighbouring Serris are a few minutes away by car.
The drive around Paris to the Disney resort
Beauvais-Tillé airport is north of Paris, while Magny-le-Hongre is well to the east, so the route skirts the capital rather than crossing it. The usual path runs south on the A16 and A1 motorways, then picks up the eastern ring roads and the A4 towards Marne-la-Vallée, exiting for the Val d'Europe and Disney area. It is motorway for almost the whole way, roughly 115 km, normally around 1 hour 40 minutes. Traffic is the main variable: the stretch near the A1/A86 and the eastern approaches to Paris can clog at rush hour and on Friday evenings. The final few kilometres leave the motorway for the resort's wide access roads, which are well signposted for each hotel.
Practical tips for this route
Beauvais is a small airport and most flights are low-cost, so arrivals cluster around a few peak times — your driver tracks the flight, but tell them which terminal door you'll use, as the pick-up area is compact. Know the exact name of your Disney hotel before departure: the resort has multiple hotels with separate entrances and check-in desks, and "Disneyland" alone isn't enough to drop you at the right one. If you're staying at a park hotel, luggage trolleys and bell service are available at the main entrances. This is a long transfer compared with Paris's own airports (Orly and CDG are much closer to Magny-le-Hongre), so build in extra time for your return and confirm the pick-up slot the day before.
