The airport sits south of Paphos, so you join the motorway quickly without crossing the city. You leave the A6 at the Pissouri exit, after which the character changes: a narrower local road winds down toward the coast, with a noticeable series of bends on the final approach to Pissouri Bay. If you're staying in the village rather than at the bay, the road climbs instead. The whole trip is short by Cyprus standards, and you'll spend far more time on smooth motorway than on the twisting last stretch.

Tell the driver clearly whether your accommodation is in Pissouri village or down at Pissouri Bay — they are separated by a winding hill road and it saves confusion on arrival. Resort properties like Columbia Beach Resort have their own entrances, so have the exact hotel name ready. If you're renting a villa in the village, the lanes around the square are narrow and some are hard for a car to enter; a nearby drop-off point may be needed, so bring the host's phone number and any parking notes. Pissouri has small supermarkets and tavernas but limited late-night options, so if you land late, plan food in advance. The bay has no train or tram links; a private transfer or car is the practical way in and out, and taxis back are easier to arrange ahead than on the spot.
