Private transfer from Paphos International Airport to Aphrodite Hills
Door-to-door transfer from Paphos International Airport to Aphrodite Hills with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Aphrodite Hills is and who goes there
Aphrodite Hills is a hilltop resort complex above the coast near Kouklia village, on the Paphos–Limassol side of the region. It's built around an 18-hole championship golf course carved across two plateaux separated by a ravine, which is the main draw for golfers in spring and autumn. Families come for the InterContinental hotel, the retreat spa and the tennis academy, while others rent villas and apartments in the residential village around the central square, with its shops and tavernas. The resort sits close to Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock), the pebble beach on the coast road below. It's a self-contained base rather than a town, so most guests stay put and drive out for day trips to Paphos harbour or the Troodos foothills.
The drive east along the A6
The route leaves Paphos International Airport and joins the A6 motorway heading east towards Limassol. It's a short, straightforward run — largely dual carriageway with the sea on your right and open farmland and greenhouses inland. You'll pass the Timi and Acheleia area early on, then continue past the Kouklia exit. The final stretch turns off the motorway and climbs inland on a narrower road up to the resort, so the last few minutes feel quite different from the fast motorway section: a gentle rise through scrub and vineyards before you reach the gated entrance. The whole journey is roughly 18 kilometres and normally takes about 20 minutes. Because the resort is spread out, drivers need the specific building or hotel name to reach the right entrance.
Practical tips for this transfer
Aphrodite Hills has more than one entrance and covers a large area of villas, apartment blocks and the hotel, so tell your driver exactly which property or hotel you're booked into — a village address alone can leave you at the wrong gate on a big site. Reception at the gatehouse may check names, which is smoother if you have your reservation to hand. The resort has few shops beyond the central square, so if you arrive late, buy essentials before leaving Paphos. For the coast below, Petra tou Romiou has a roadside car park and an underpass to the beach; it's a quick drive but not walkable from the resort. If you're playing golf early, arrange your return pickup the day before, as taxis don't wait around here.
