The journey runs about 90 kilometres and takes a little over an hour in normal traffic. The final approach into Logroño brings you off the motorway and onto city avenues; the historic centre around Calle Laurel is largely pedestrianised, so the last stretch is on foot from the nearest drop-off point.

Pamplona Airport (PNA) is small with limited scheduled flights, so confirm your arrival time carefully — many travellers actually fly into Bilbao or Zaragoza and this Noáin route suits those on regional connections. If you plan to hit Calle Laurel, arrange a central drop-off near the Concatedral or Paseo del Espolón, since the tapas streets themselves are closed to traffic. During San Mateo in late September, expect road closures and heavy demand for accommodation, so book early. If your real goal is bodega tasting, tell your driver in advance — a stop in Navarrete or Fuenmayor on the way in is easy given both sit close to the A-12. Rioja restaurants serve dinner late; there is no need to rush your transfer to arrive before 20:00.
