The route runs almost entirely on the A8 motorway (La Provençale) heading west. From the airport you join the A8 quickly and stay on it past Antibes and around Cannes, leaving at the Mandelieu exits (around junctions 40–41). The final approach drops down towards the coast, the Siagne river and the marinas, so the last few minutes involve local roads and roundabouts rather than motorway. In free-flowing traffic the trip is around 30–40 minutes over roughly 33 km. The A8 is toll-charged, and this stretch is one of the busiest on the Riviera, tightening noticeably on summer weekends and during the Cannes Film Festival, when both the motorway and the Cannes bypass slow down.

Tell the driver which part of town you need, as the marinas, the golf courses and the château are spread out and reached by different exits. If you're staying in a Cannes Marina apartment complex, note the building or quay name, since these residences have several gated entrances. For golf, confirm whether you mean the Old Course near the river or Barbossi in the hills — they are on opposite sides of the town. During the mimosa season and film festival, allow extra time and expect road closures near the seafront. Boat guests should specify Port La Napoule, Cannes Marina or Port de la Rague by name. The town is compact once you arrive, so it's worth having a precise address rather than just "Mandelieu".
