Antibes old town, Port Vauban and the Picasso Museum are a short distance away. Spring and September are quieter, with the crowds and open-air concerts concentrated in July and August.

The route leaves the airport and follows the A8 motorway west, or the parallel coastal N7 when traffic allows, for most of the way towards Antibes. It is a short trip, usually around half an hour, running through the Sophia Antipolis corridor before dropping down towards the coast. The final stretch leaves the fast road and threads through Antibes town streets, which narrow and slow near the beachfront and the Pinède. In July and August, and on festival evenings, the roads immediately around the resort centre can back up, so the last kilometre often takes longer than the motorway section. Drivers usually approach hotels from the seafront side rather than through the tightest old lanes.

If you arrive during the Jazz à Juan festival, expect road closures and diversions around the Gould pine grove in the evenings, and allow extra time. For stays at Cap d'Antibes villas or hotels, note that the addresses are spread along the peninsula and can be a few minutes further than the resort centre. The airport is close enough that a transfer is quick even for early morning flights out, but summer beach traffic on the return leg can be unpredictable, so book a pickup with margin.
