You stay on the A8 past Antibes and exit near Cannes or Mougins, then climb inland on the D6185 and D2085 towards Grasse. The first stretch is fast, flat and coastal-adjacent; the character changes once you turn off the motorway and begin gaining altitude through wooded hills and residential slopes around Mougins and Mouans-Sartoux. The final approach into Grasse is winding, with tighter bends as the road rises to the town, which is built on a hillside. Total distance is around 40 km and the journey usually takes under an hour, though the climb and old-town traffic can slow the last few kilometres.

Grasse's old town is largely pedestrian and its lanes are too narrow and steep for vehicles, so a driver will usually set you down at an accessible point such as Cours Honoré Cresp or near the perfume museum rather than at your exact door — expect a short walk with luggage on foot or by hand. If you're visiting a specific perfume house, confirm which one, as Fragonard, Molinard and Galimard have separate locations, some in town and some on the outskirts. Parking in the centre is limited, which makes a private transfer more convenient than a hire car for a day visit. Book perfume workshops in advance during summer.
