The drive is short and almost entirely on the motorway. You leave the airport onto the A8 heading west, passing Antibes, and take the Antibes/Vallauris exit (junction 44) after roughly 20 minutes. From there a short descent on the D435/D6007 brings you down to the coast at Golfe Juan, or a turn inland climbs to Vallauris old town. Traffic is the main variable: the A8 backs up in July and August and during weekday rush hours, so the same trip can stretch well beyond the off-peak time. The final approach to Vallauris involves a couple of climbing bends, while Golfe Juan is reached by a straightforward run down to the seafront and Avenue de la Liberté.

Tell us clearly whether your address is in Golfe Juan (down by the sea and the port) or up in Vallauris, because they are separate neighbourhoods with different access. Vallauris old town has narrow one-way lanes around the castle and the ceramics shops; a car often cannot stop right at the door, so agree a nearby drop point and expect a short walk. In Golfe Juan, ask to be set down near Port Camille Rayon or the seafront rather than in the tight backstreets. During summer weekends and any beach or boat event, expect road closures and slow crawls near the port.
