Private transfer from Menorca Airport to Cala'n Bosch
Door-to-door transfer from Menorca Airport to Cala'n Bosch with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Cala'n Bosch is like
Cala'n Bosch sits at the southwest tip of Menorca, next to Ciutadella and just south of Son Xoriguer. It is a purpose-built resort built around an inland marina, where a canal links the harbour to the sea and pleasure boats moor right beside the bars and restaurants of the Plaza. The small sandy beach of Cala en Bosc and the wider Son Xoriguer beach are within walking distance, and boat trips to the harder-to-reach coves of Macarella and Cala en Turqueta leave from here. It draws families and self-catering holidaymakers in July and August, with apartment complexes and villas spread across several streets. Cala Blanca lies just to the north, and the old town of Ciutadella, with its cathedral and port, is a short drive away.
The drive across the island on the Me-1
The airport sits just south of Maó at the eastern end of Menorca, while Cala'n Bosch is at the opposite, western corner, so this is close to an end-to-end crossing of the island. The route follows the Me-1, the single main road that links Maó and Ciutadella, passing the turnings for Alaior, Es Mercadal and Ferreries along the way. The landscape is inland and gently rolling farmland, dry-stone walls and fields rather than coast, so there are no cliff-edge bends. Near Ciutadella you leave the Me-1 and head south on local roads through Cala Blanca toward the resort. The final stretch runs through the resort's grid of streets, which can be slow in peak season. Expect roughly 55 minutes in normal traffic.
Practical tips for this transfer
Give your driver the name of your apartment complex or hotel, not just "Cala'n Bosch": the resort spreads over many similar-looking streets and villa clusters, and several complexes share almost identical names, so a precise address saves time on arrival. If you are staying near the marina, note that the area around the Plaza is largely pedestrian, so drop-offs may be at the nearest accessible street. Because this is the longest common transfer on the island, it is worth arranging the return pickup with extra buffer, especially on summer Saturdays when changeover traffic around Ciutadella builds up. There is a supermarket and pharmacies within the resort, but for a wider choice head into Ciutadella. If you plan boat trips to Macarella, book the harbour departures early in the day during peak weeks.
