Arenal d'en Castell's apartment complexes look alike and share confusingly similar names, so give your driver the exact building name and block, not just the resort — several entrances ring the bay and the closest drop-off point depends on which side you're staying. There are no large supermarkets in the resort itself; if you're self-catering, ask whether a quick stop in Es Mercadal on the way is possible, as options in Na Macaret are limited. The bay is steep-sided, so packing light helps with the final walk down to beach-level accommodation. For late arrivals, note that this is a quiet resort after dark with few taxis waiting, which makes a pre-booked return transfer worthwhile rather than trying to find one on the day.
