Private transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Valencia city
Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Valencia city with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

What Valencia offers when you arrive
Valencia is built around the drained Turia riverbed, now a 9km green park that runs from Cabecera to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, with its Oceanogràfic aquarium and the Hemisfèric. The old town centres on the Mercado Central, La Lonja de la Seda and the cathedral holding the Holy Grail relic, with the Barrio del Carmen for late dinners and bars. Families and beachgoers head to Malvarrosa and Las Arenas, backed by the restored El Cabanyal fishermen's quarter. South of the city, La Albufera lagoon and El Palmar are where authentic paella valenciana comes from. Spring, especially Las Fallas in March, and early autumn draw the biggest crowds; summer weekends fill the marina and beach paseo.
The drive along the Mediterranean motorway
This is a long-distance transfer of roughly 620km, usually around six hours with a stop. From the airport the route joins the A-7 and heads inland past Granada province, then follows the A-92 and A-7 corridor towards Murcia and Alicante before continuing north on the A-7/AP-7 Mediterranean motorway to Valencia. Almost the entire journey is dual-carriageway motorway, mostly rolling inland terrain and irrigated huerta rather than clifftop coast, so it moves steadily. You'll pass the Alicante and Murcia turnoffs and see the intensive market gardens south of Valencia. The final approach enters the city from the south, and the last stretch into the historic centre involves narrow one-way streets around the Mercado and cathedral where drop-off points are limited.
Planning this long transfer sensibly
Because this is a six-hour drive, treat it as a road trip: agree a comfort stop in advance, ideally around Murcia or Alicante where the motorway services are well equipped. If your hotel is inside Ciutat Vella, tell the driver the nearest square or wide street, since much of the centre around the Carmen and the cathedral is restricted traffic zone and vehicles cannot reach every door. For beach stays in Malvarrosa, El Cabanyal or the Marina, access is far easier and parking more open. Carry water and snacks for children, as stretches between service areas can be long. If you're heading to La Albufera or El Saler rather than the city, mention it early so the driver takes the southern CV-500 exit instead of entering the centre.
