Private transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Torrox
Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Torrox with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

Torrox Costa, Torrox Pueblo and the Roman lighthouse
Torrox splits into two distinct parts. Torrox Costa is the seafront district, with the promenade, the Ferrara and El Peñoncillo beaches, and the Roman remains beside the lighthouse at Torrox Faro. Torrox Pueblo sits about four kilometres inland, a whitewashed old town of narrow streets, the Plaza de la Constitución and steep alleys the local buses barely fit through. The town promotes itself as having one of the mildest climates in Europe, which draws a large resident German and Northern European community year-round. Summer brings Spanish families to the apartments along the coast; spring and autumn suit walkers exploring the Axarquía hills and villages like Cómpeta and Frigiliana. Nerja and its caves are a short drive east.
The A-7 route east through the Axarquía
Torrox lies east of Málaga, so the transfer heads the opposite way to Marbella traffic. The driver takes the A-7 autovía del Mediterráneo along the coast, passing Rincón de la Victoria, Torre del Mar and Vélez-Málaga before reaching the Torrox exits. The road is dual carriageway almost the whole way, with sea views on the right and the Axarquía hills inland, and the journey usually runs around 45 minutes with light traffic. If your accommodation is in Torrox Pueblo rather than the coast, expect a winding final climb up from the N-340 on the last stretch. The old-town streets are tight, so drivers often drop off at a set point near the centre rather than at the door.

Practical tips for arriving in Torrox
Tell us clearly whether your destination is Torrox Costa or Torrox Pueblo when booking; they are separate areas and the last few minutes of the drive differ completely. Many coastal apartments sit in complexes off the seafront road with several entrances, so share the building name or urbanización, not just a street. For the Pueblo, note the nearest plaza or a recognisable landmark, since GPS often fails in the old-town lanes. If you plan day trips to Nerja, Frigiliana or the beaches, the coast has limited public transport in the evenings, so booking your return in advance is worthwhile. Late arrivals into Málaga are fine — the eastbound A-7 is quiet at night and the run stays quick.
