The route is almost entirely motorway. From Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport you join the A-7/AP-7 heading southwest, passing Torremolinos and Benalmádena Costa before the Torrequebrada exits. It's roughly 20 km and usually around 20 to 25 minutes with normal traffic. The AP-7 toll road runs parallel and can save time in July and August when the free A-7 backs up near Torremolinos. The final stretch leaves the motorway and drops toward the seafront; some hotels and the golf club sit just off the exit, while beachfront apartments need a short run along the coastal road. The resort has several separate entrances and access roads, so the exact turn-off depends on your building.

Torrequebrada is spread across a large area, so give the exact hotel name, apartment block or the golf club rather than just "Torrequebrada" — the beachfront and the higher residential streets are a few minutes apart and easy to confuse. If you're carrying golf clubs, mention it when booking so the vehicle has boot space. Many apartment complexes have underground parking with height limits and controlled gates; a phone number for the reception or owner helps the driver reach the right entrance. For late arrivals, note that the coastal access road is well lit but some interior streets are narrow and one-way.
