Torremuelle is a hillside residential area on the western edge of Benalmádena, between Benalmádena Costa and Carvajal towards Fuengirola. Its streets climb steeply from the coast, with many villas and apartment blocks looking down over the sea, so the final approach involves narrow, winding roads and sharp gradients. Down at sea level there is a small beach, Playa de Torremuelle, and its own Cercanías station on the C1 Málaga–Fuengirola line, which is handy for reaching Arroyo de la Miel, the marina at Puerto Marina and Fuengirola without a car. It is mostly residents, long-stay visitors and families renting holiday properties rather than a nightlife crowd. Torrequebrada golf and casino lie just to the east.

The route runs southwest from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, joining either the AP-7 toll motorway or the free A-7 coastal road towards Fuengirola. Most of the journey is fast, straight dual-carriageway past Torremolinos and Benalmádena, and in normal traffic it takes around 25 minutes. The change comes at the end: leaving the motorway for Torremuelle, the road turns off towards the coast and then the residential streets climb the hillside in tight bends. If your accommodation is high up, the driver navigates several narrow turns with limited passing space. Summer weekends and the stretch past Torremolinos can slow things down, and roadworks on the A-7 are common, so allow a little extra during July and August.

Torremuelle's addresses can be confusing: many are labelled by urbanisation name rather than a clear street number, and the same complex may have entrances at different heights on the hill. Before travelling, get the exact name of your building or urbanisation, the correct gate, and ideally a pin location, so the driver takes the right turn-off rather than circling the slopes. Parking near the upper villas is tight, so a door-to-door drop is genuinely useful with luggage on those gradients. If you plan to explore without a car, note that Torremuelle station puts Fuengirola, Arroyo de la Miel and central Málaga within easy reach on the C1 train. The nearest larger supermarkets are down in Benalmádena and Fuengirola rather than in the urbanisation itself.
