Once you leave the motorway, the approach drops down towards the seafront on Avenida del Sol, where traffic slows and the road follows the coast. In July and August, and on summer weekends, the exits around Torremolinos and Benalmádena Costa can back up, so allow extra time. The final stretch near the beach is straightforward, without the narrow lanes you would meet in an old town.

Give the exact block or entrance when booking: the complex spans several buildings along Avenida del Sol, and reception is not at every access point. If you arrive before the standard check-in time, staff can usually store luggage while you use the pools or head to the beach. The tram-like Benalmádena cable car and the local Renfe Cercanías station at Arroyo de la Miel (line C1 to Málaga and the airport) are useful for day trips without a car. For late flights, note that the promenade restaurants near Puerto Marina stay busy into the night in summer.
