Private transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Ronda
Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Ronda with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

What people come to Ronda for
Ronda sits on a cliff split by the El Tajo gorge, crossed by the 18th-century Puente Nuevo — the image most day-trippers arrive for. The Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza is one of Spain's oldest bullrings, with a museum inside. In La Ciudad, the old Moorish quarter, you'll find the Baños Árabes, the Casa del Rey Moro and the Palacio de Mondragón. Day visitors from the coast crowd the centre midday, so overnight guests get the Alameda del Tajo viewpoints and the gorge to themselves at dawn and dusk. The Serranía de Ronda draws hikers and wine visitors year-round, with nearby Setenil de las Bodegas, the Roman ruins at Acinipo and the Sierra de las Nieves within easy reach.
The drive up through the Serranía
From the airport the route runs inland on the A-357 towards Campillos, then turns south onto the A-367 for the final climb into the mountains. It is not a coastal drive — after the first flat stretch the road gains height steadily, with olive groves, open farmland and the peaks of the Serranía ahead. The last section winds through hills before Ronda appears on its plateau. Expect roughly an hour and a half in normal traffic. An alternative approach via San Pedro de Alcántara and the A-397 is much twistier and slower, with hairpin bends that some passengers find uncomfortable; the Campillos route is the smoother choice and is usually preferred unless you specifically want the mountain-pass scenery.

Practical notes for arriving in Ronda
Much of central Ronda is pedestrianised or restricted, so ask your driver to set the exact hotel address; some places near the Puente Nuevo and in La Ciudad can only be reached on foot from the nearest drop-off point, and the old-town lanes are narrow. Bring a light layer even in summer — Ronda sits at over 700 metres and evenings are noticeably cooler than on the coast. If you plan side trips to Setenil, Acinipo or Grazalema, book them separately, as they are not on the airport route. Winter mornings can bring fog and, occasionally, snow on the higher passes, which slows the drive. For return transfers, allow extra time to leave the centre, as parking and access near the gorge are limited.
