Private transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Playa Granada
Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Playa Granada with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

What Playa Granada is like
Playa Granada sits on the Costa Tropical just west of Motril, on the coastline of Granada province rather than Málaga's. The beach is long, dark-sand and pebble, backed by a promenade and low-rise apartment blocks and villas rather than high-rise hotels. Los Moriscos Golf Club runs alongside it, which draws golfers through autumn and spring when the Andalusian coast stays mild. Families and Granada residents fill the apartments in July and August; the rest of the year it is quiet. The Motril marina and commercial port are a few minutes east, and the hill town of Salobreña with its Moorish castle is a short drive west. It suits people who want a calm, residential beach base with easy access to the Alpujarras and the city of Granada inland.
The drive along the A-7 coast motorway
The route runs almost entirely on the A-7 Autovía del Mediterráneo, heading east from the airport past Málaga city, Rincón de la Victoria, Torre del Mar and Nerja. Once past Nerja the motorway leaves the built-up coast and cuts through the cliffs and tunnels of the Maro–Cerro Gordo stretch, one of the more scenic parts of the drive, before crossing into Granada province at La Herradura and Almuñécar. Expect around 100 kilometres and roughly an hour and a quarter with clear traffic. The final approach turns off toward Motril and down to the Playa Granada developments, which spread across several access roads between the golf course and the seafront, so the exact door can take a few extra minutes to reach.

Practical tips for this route
Playa Granada is spread out, so give your driver the specific urbanisation or apartment block name plus the nearest cross street rather than just "Playa Granada" — the addresses repeat and satnav can drop you at the wrong entrance. If you are heading to Los Moriscos golf clubhouse, say so directly. There is no train to this coast, so a private transfer or car is the only practical door-to-door option. In July and August the A-7 through Málaga and around Nerja can slow, so allow extra time for outbound flights. Stock up on groceries at the supermarkets in Motril centre, as the beachfront has limited shops. If you plan day trips to Granada or the Sierra Nevada, note the mountain road inland is separate from the coastal A-7 and adds time.
