Near Antequera you switch onto the A-92 heading east towards Granada. This stretch runs through open inland country — olive groves, farmland and the outline of the Sierras — climbing steadily onto the Granada plateau. You leave the A-92 near the Huétor-Tájar / Moraleda junction and drop down onto local roads into the Vega for the final few kilometres. Expect roughly 100–110 km and around 75–85 minutes, longer if morning fog sits over the higher stretches of the A-45.

Because Moraleda de Zafayona is inland and off the tourist coast, taxis and public transport are limited here — the A-92 bus services stop on the main road, not at your door, so a pre-booked transfer is the reliable option, especially on late flights. Give the driver the exact street or an obvious reference point; the town is small and some streets are narrow, so a landmark near the plaza or the church helps. If you are continuing to Alhama de Granada, the Bermejales reservoir or Granada city, mention it when booking, as these are natural add-ons from here. Winter mornings can bring fog and occasional ice on the higher A-45 and A-92 sections, so allow buffer time. There are service stations along the A-92 near Loja if you need a stop.
