Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Chipiona with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

What Chipiona is known for
Chipiona sits on the Atlantic coast of Cádiz, at the mouth of the Guadalquivir facing Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its landmark is the Faro de Chipiona, the tallest lighthouse in Spain, and the Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Regla beside Playa de Regla, the main town beach. Families fill Playa de Regla, Playa de las Canteras and Playa de Cruz del Mar in July and August, when Spanish holidaymakers arrive in force. The town is also tied to singer Rocío Jurado and to moscatel wine and the old corrales de pesca, stone tidal fish traps visible at low tide. Outside summer it stays quiet, largely a place of residents and weekenders from Jerez and Seville.
The drive from Málaga Airport to Chipiona
This is a long west-bound run of roughly 245 km, usually around two and three-quarter hours. From the airport you join the AP-7/A-7 coastal motorway past Marbella, Estepona and San Roque, then cut inland on the A-381 across the open countryside of the Ruta del Toro toward Jerez de la Frontera. From Jerez the A-480 runs through vineyards to Sanlúcar de Barrameda and on into Chipiona. The bulk of the journey is fast dual carriageway; the final stretch is flat and agricultural rather than mountainous. As you enter town the roads narrow near the old centre and the seafront, so expect slower going approaching hotels around Playa de Regla and the lighthouse.

Practical tips for this route
Because the trip crosses two provinces and takes close to three hours, tell your driver your exact address: Chipiona spreads from the old town near the lighthouse out to campsites and apartment blocks toward Costa Ballena, and these are several kilometres apart. If your plans include Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Rota or a Jerez sherry bodega, mention it when booking, as they sit on the same corridor. In August the seafront around Playa de Regla is congested and parking is scarce, so a door-to-door drop-off saves real hassle. The AP-7 has tolls on some sections; a private transfer handles this for you. Bring water and consider a stop, as there are long motorway gaps with few services on the A-381.
