Private transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Carmona
Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Carmona with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

What Carmona offers on its ridge above the Vega
Carmona sits on a limestone ridge east of Seville, looking out over the flat farmland of the Vega. Its old town is entered through the Puerta de Sevilla, a layered Roman and Moorish gate with an alcázar you can climb, and the Puerta de Córdoba at the far end. The Roman Necropolis on the edge of town has burial chambers cut into the rock, including the large Tumba del Elefante. Inside the walls you'll find Plaza de San Fernando, the church of Santa María de la Asunción and San Pedro with its Giralda-style tower. The Parador occupies the old fortress of Pedro I. Visitors are mostly day-trippers from Seville, history travellers and wedding guests, busiest in spring and autumn when the plain isn't baking.
The drive inland from the coast to Carmona
This is an inland route, not a coastal one. From Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport the driver climbs north on the A-45 towards Antequera, leaving the sea behind within minutes and crossing rolling farm and olive country. Near Antequera the route joins the A-92, a fast dual carriageway that runs west across the plains past Osuna and Écija's turn-offs toward Seville. Carmona is reached from the A-92/A-4 corridor, with a short final stretch up to the ridge. It's motorway almost the entire way, roughly two hours, so the drive is smooth rather than winding until the climb into town. The last approach narrows as you near the old gates, where streets tighten and parking is limited.

Practical points for arriving in Carmona
Because the run is inland and long, tell the driver your exact address inside Carmona: the old town's streets are narrow and one-way, and vehicles can't always reach a doorway near the Puerta de Sevilla or the Parador. Agreeing a drop-off point such as Plaza de San Fernando or the Paseo del Estatuto avoids circling. This route passes no beaches or resorts, so plan a comfort and food stop; the A-92 has service areas around Osuna and Écija. Summer afternoons on the Vega are hot, so carry water. If you're continuing to Seville, note it's only about 30 kilometres further west, an easy add-on. Book the return in advance, as taxis idling in Carmona are far fewer than at the coast.
