Private transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Benajarafe
Door-to-door transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Benajarafe with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.

What Benajarafe is like
Benajarafe is a low-key coastal village east of Málaga, part of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga on the Axarquía coast. Its long stretch of dark, coarse sand runs parallel to the old N-340, with a seafront promenade and a row of chiringuitos serving espeto de sardinas grilled over open wood fires. It sits between Rincón de la Victoria to the west and Torre del Mar to the east, with Chilches and Almayate close by. This is a place favoured by Spanish families and long-stay residents rather than package tourists — busiest in July and August, very quiet the rest of the year. People come for the beach, the fish restaurants and easy access to inland Axarquía villages like Vélez-Málaga.
The drive east along the coast
The airport sits west of Málaga city, so the route to Benajarafe crosses the whole eastern side of the metropolitan area. Drivers take the MA-20 ring road or the A-7 motorway around Málaga, then continue east on the A-7 coastal corridor past Rincón de la Victoria. The final stretch drops onto the old N-340 seafront road that runs right through the village. It's motorway or dual carriageway for almost the entire way — no mountain passes or winding sections — so the journey is straightforward and normally takes around 40 minutes. Traffic through Málaga can slow things in summer and at rush hour. The last few minutes are along the coast, with the sea on your right as you approach Benajarafe.
Practical tips for this transfer
Many stays in Benajarafe are in apartments, villas or urbanizaciones spread along the N-340 rather than a single hotel, so give the exact address and any urbanization name — properties are often signposted by kilometre point on the old coast road. Supermarkets are limited in the village itself; if you're self-catering, ask the driver about a quick stop in Rincón de la Victoria or Torre del Mar, both minutes away and much better stocked. There's no train to Benajarafe — the Málaga cercanías line ends at Rincón de la Victoria area, so a private transfer or car is the practical way in. For a return airport pickup, allow extra time in July and August, when the coastal road and Málaga approaches carry heavy holiday traffic.
