The final approach is the part passengers notice most: the streets in the old core are narrow and steep, so the last few hundred metres are slow and a large vehicle may not reach every doorway. For airport pickups, the A-7 eastbound backs up on summer weekends, so allow extra time for return trips to catch a flight. Local shops and services are more concentrated down in Rincón de la Victoria than in the upper village.
