The final kilometres leave the motorway for local roads into town; the historic centre has tight one-way streets, so the drop-off point matters more here than the distance covered.

Because Alcalá de Guadaíra blends into Seville's metropolitan area, tell the driver your exact address or landmark — the castle, Parque de Oromana, or a specific polígono like La Red or La Isla — rather than just the town name, as they sprawl in different directions. If your real destination is central Seville, note that Alcalá is a common quieter base with easier parking and access to the SE-40 ring road. The A-92 has service stations near Antequera and Osuna, useful stops on a two-hour drive with children. There are no coastal detours to add time, so the estimate is reliable outside Seville rush hours (weekday mornings and Friday evenings). For summer travel, ask about vehicles with strong air conditioning — the inland Sevillian plain gets far hotter than the coast.
