Past Adra you cross the Campo de Dalías, where the landscape turns to the vast plastic greenhouses of El Ejido — a distinctive white sea of polytunnels that surprises first-time passengers. The final approach descends toward the coast at Aguadulce, leaving the motorway for the town's seafront and marina. It's a long but straightforward journey, mostly dual carriageway, with the section between Motril and Almería being the least developed and most scenic part.

This is one of the longer transfers from Málaga airport, so treat it as a proper cross-province trip. Almería has its own airport much closer to Aguadulce, so confirm you actually need Málaga before booking — many travellers arrive here because of flight availability or connections. Build in a comfort or fuel stop; the service areas around Motril or Adra are the practical midpoints. If your accommodation is inside a beachfront complex or near the marina, note the exact building and street, as Aguadulce's seafront has several similar-looking apartment blocks. For arrivals, the A-7 flows well outside peak summer weekends, when eastbound traffic toward the beaches can slow the final approach through Roquetas de Mar.
