Private transfer from Larnaca International Airport to Latchi
Door-to-door transfer from Larnaca International Airport to Latchi with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Latchi is known for
Latchi is a small fishing harbour on the northwest coast, just west of the town of Polis Chrysochous. Its working marina is the departure point for boat trips to the Blue Lagoon and along the Akamas Peninsula, and the seafront tavernas here are known for fresh fish landed at the quay. A short walk from the village is the Baths of Aphrodite, the main trailhead into the Akamas nature reserve, which draws walkers in spring and autumn when the heat is manageable. The long pebble-and-sand beach runs east toward Prodromi and Polis. Latchi suits couples, families and hikers looking for a quieter base than Paphos or Ayia Napa, with the hillside village of Neo Chorio just above.
The drive across the island to Latchi
Latchi sits at the opposite end of Cyprus from Larnaca, so this is one of the longer transfers on the island. Most of the route runs on motorway: the A1 west past Limassol, then the A6 along the south coast toward Paphos. After leaving the motorway near Paphos, the road turns inland and climbs north through farmland and hills toward Polis, a stretch that is slower and more winding than the coastal section. The final descent brings you down to the coast at Polis, with Latchi a few minutes further west along the shore. Expect roughly two and a half hours door to door in normal traffic. The scenery shifts from flat coast to green inland countryside as you approach, so the last part of the drive feels quite different from the start.
Planning a transfer to Latchi
Because of the distance, confirm your driver has the exact address in or around Latchi: some accommodation is in the village itself, but much is spread across Polis, Prodromi and Neo Chorio, each a few minutes apart. If you land late, note that this corner of Cyprus has little public transport, so a pre-booked door-to-door transfer avoids being stranded at Paphos or Polis. For those flying into Larnaca specifically to reach the Akamas, ask whether Paphos International Airport suits you better, as it is far closer to Latchi. Bring water and be ready for a long drive if travelling with young children. If you plan a Blue Lagoon boat trip, the harbour is walkable from most of the village, so a car isn't essential once you arrive.
