Door-to-door transfer from Larnaca International Airport to Coral Bay with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Coral Bay is like
Coral Bay sits on the west coast above Paphos, within the municipality of Peyia. Its centre is a compact strip of tavernas, bars and mini-markets running down toward Coral Bay Beach, a sheltered sandy cove with lifeguards and Blue Flag status that fills with families in summer. Just north are the Sea Caves and the start of the Akamas Peninsula, where hikers and 4x4 day-trippers head for Lara Bay and the turtle-nesting coast. Golfers usually stay closer to Paphos at Elea Estate or Secret Valley rather than here. The resort spreads across low hills, so many villas and apartment blocks have long private driveways and sea views. It's busiest from May to October; winter is quiet, with several restaurants closed.
The drive from Larnaca across the south coast
This is one of the longer airport runs on the island, crossing the south coast almost end to end. You leave Larnaca on the A1 motorway, skirt Limassol on the A1/A6, then continue west on the A6 past Kouklia and Aphrodite Hills toward Paphos. Most of the way is smooth dual carriageway, so the first hour and more passes quickly with sea on your left and low hills inland. The character changes near Paphos: you leave the motorway and climb through Peyia's junctions and roundabouts on winding, narrower roads before dropping into the Coral Bay area. Expect roughly an hour and three-quarters in normal traffic. Summer weekends and Limassol's rush hours can add time, so allow a margin for a flight check-in on the return.
Practical tips for this route
Give your driver the exact villa or hotel name and, if possible, the Peyia street or the nearest Coral Bay landmark, because the resort spreads over several hillside streets that phone map pins often place inaccurately. Many self-catering villas are up steep private lanes, so mention if you have heavy luggage or limited mobility. It's a long ride, so ask about a stop near Limassol for a break or supplies; there are service stations along the A6. If you're arriving late, note that Coral Bay's shops and mini-markets close earlier than Paphos town, so pick up essentials before you reach the hill. For return trips to Larnaca, book pickup with plenty of margin, as the motorway crossing plus Paphos and Limassol traffic is easy to underestimate.
