From Siesta you can walk or take a short taxi to Cala Pada and Es Canar, and Santa Eulària's marina, promenade and Saturday-market town centre are minutes away. The crowd is mostly summer holidaymakers between May and October, plus long-stay northern-European visitors in shoulder season. Many streets are named with numbered avenidas, so knowing your exact block and complex name matters when you arrive.

The route runs from Ibiza Airport, on the south of the island, up the eastern side towards Santa Eulària. Drivers usually take the airport link road onto the E-10 dual carriageway that skirts Ibiza Town, then continue on the main Santa Eulària road. It's a straightforward, mostly fast run of roughly 28 kilometres, taking around 35 minutes in normal conditions. The terrain is gently rolling inland countryside — fields, pine and the occasional roundabout — rather than mountain hairpins, so it's an easy ride for anyone prone to car sickness. The final stretch leaves the main road for the network of residential streets around Siesta and Santa Eulària, which are narrower and slower. In July and August expect delays approaching Santa Eulària as holiday traffic builds on the coastal approaches.

Because Siesta is a sprawl of similarly-named apartment complexes and numbered avenidas, give your driver the full name of your building or aparthotel plus the nearest cross street, not just "Siesta" — it saves circling. Many complexes have reception desks that close in the evening, so if you land on a late flight, arrange key collection or a lockbox code beforehand. If you're heading to Es Canar for the Wednesday hippy market, factor in that parking and access get congested; being dropped off is easier than driving yourself. Supermarkets and restaurants cluster along Santa Eulària's centre and seafront, a short ride away, rather than inside the urbanisation itself. For return transfers, allow extra time in peak summer, as the same coastal roads back towards the E-10 slow down mid-morning.
