Es Figueral sits on the quieter northeast coast within the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu, close to the village of Sant Carles de Peralta. Its main draw is Platja des Figueral, a sandy beach backed by low cliffs and a handful of resort hotels. It draws families and couples who want a calm base rather than the noise of Sant Antoni or Playa d'en Bossa. Sant Carles is a short drive inland, home to the Las Dalias hippy market on Saturdays and the smaller Wednesday and Sunday summer markets. Nearby coves worth the trip include Cala Boix, Cala Mastella with its beach restaurant El Bigotes, and the naturist stretch of Aigües Blanques. Most visitors come between May and October; much of the area winds down in winter.

The route crosses the island from south to northeast. From the airport you take the E-20 toward Ibiza town, then join the main road toward Santa Eulària des Riu, which handles most of the distance on wide, well-maintained carriageway. After Santa Eulària the road narrows and passes through Sant Carles before descending toward the coast at Es Figueral. The final stretch is a smaller inland road through pine and farmland, with a winding descent to the beach and hotels. Expect roughly 45 minutes in normal conditions. In July and August the section around Santa Eulària and the roundabouts near Sant Carles can slow considerably, especially on Saturdays when traffic builds toward the Las Dalias market. The terrain is gentle rather than mountainous, but the last few kilometres feel distinctly rural.

Give your driver the exact hotel name, as the Es Figueral complex has several separate hotel entrances spread along the access road, and the beach car park is not the same as the hotel drop-offs. Taxis are scarce here once you arrive, so book onward or return transfers in advance rather than expecting to hail one. There is a small supermarket and a few restaurants near the beach, but for a wider choice you'll want to head to Sant Carles or Santa Eulària. If you plan to visit Las Dalias on a Saturday, allow extra travel time and consider that parking fills early. Bring cash for the market and smaller beach kiosks. For flights, factor in the slower final road plus possible summer congestion around Santa Eulària and leave earlier than the raw distance suggests.
