This is one of the shortest transfers on the island. From Fuerteventura Airport (El Matorral) the route runs south on the FV-2, the dual carriageway that hugs the east coast towards Gran Tarajal. The terrain is flat, open and semi-desert, with little to slow you down, so the journey is usually around ten to twelve minutes. You leave the motorway at the Caleta de Fuste exit and drop onto the resort's internal roads. Because the town spreads over several distinct sectors — the older centre near the castle and marina, plus newer complexes and the golf areas inland — the final few minutes depend heavily on which hotel or apartment you're booked into. Have the exact complex name ready rather than just "Caleta de Fuste".

Because Caleta de Fuste is so close to the airport, this transfer works well even for very late or early flights, and there's little risk of long delays on the FV-2. Many accommodations are gated complexes with a single reception entrance set back from the main road; giving the driver the reception name and any block number saves circling. If you're staying near the golf courses (Fuerteventura Golf Club or Salinas de Antigua), confirm this, as those entrances are on the inland side, away from the beach. The resort is compact and walkable once you arrive, so you won't need a car for the marina, promenade or Atlántico centre. For day trips to Corralejo dunes or the capital Puerto del Rosario, a return transfer or taxi is straightforward from here.
