Private transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to Trogir
Door-to-door transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to Trogir with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Trogir offers travellers
Trogir's old town sits on a small island linked by short bridges to the mainland and to Ciovo. It's compact and fully pedestrian: the Cathedral of St Lawrence with Radovan's carved portal, the Kamerlengo Fortress at the water's edge, and the stone Riva lined with restaurants and moored yachts. The ACI marina draws sailing crews all summer. Families and beach-goers cross to Ciovo for Okrug Gornji, often called Copacabana, and to Medena in nearby Seget. Day-trippers combine Trogir with Split, 27 km east. Peak season is July and August, when the narrow marble lanes fill up; late spring and September are far calmer and better for walking the ramparts and taking a boat to the Blue Lagoon off Drvenik.
The drive north from Dubrovnik Airport
The airport sits at Čilipi, southeast of Dubrovnik, so the whole journey runs north up the Dalmatian coast. Since the Pelješac Bridge opened, the route bypasses the old Neum corridor through Bosnia entirely, so you no longer need a passport check on the way. After the bridge the road rejoins the coast near Ploče, then climbs onto the A1 motorway for the long, fast middle stretch inland behind the coastal mountains. You leave the motorway around Dugopolje or Prgomet and descend through Kaštela toward the sea. Expect roughly three hours. The final approach is flat and built-up as you pass close to Split Airport at Resnik, which sits just a few kilometres from Trogir itself.
Drop-off points and timing for Trogir
No vehicles enter the old-town island, so your driver drops you at the mainland bridge or the car park by the market; from there it's a short walk over the bridge with your luggage, and the lanes are too narrow for wheeled cases on cobbles. If you're staying on Ciovo, Okrug or Seget, give the exact address, as these spread along the shore. Note that Split Airport is only about 6 km from Trogir, so if you have a choice of arrival airports, flying into Split cuts this drive dramatically. In July and August, allow extra time for congestion around Split and the Kaštela stretch. Ferries and taxi-boats to Drvenik and the Blue Lagoon leave from the Riva, close to the drop-off point.
