Private transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to Becici (Przno)
Door-to-door transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to Becici (Przno) with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Becici and Przno are known for
Becici sits on Montenegro's Budva Riviera, just south of Budva town, and is built around one of the longest beaches on this coast — a wide stretch of fine sand and pebble that runs into neighbouring Rafailovići. Large resort hotels like the Splendid line the shore, so it draws families and package holidaymakers in summer, when the beach bars and promenade are busy. Przno is a smaller former fishing village nearby, closer to the Sveti Stefan islet, with a compact bay and a handful of seafood konobas. Budva's walled old town, Mogren beach and the marina are a short drive away for nightlife and day trips. The area is quiet outside June to September, when many hotels reduce hours or close.
The cross-border drive through the Bay of Kotor
This is an international transfer: Dubrovnik Airport sits near Čilipi and Cavtat, close to the Croatian border, so you cross into Montenegro early on at the Debeli Brijeg–Sitnica checkpoint. From there the road runs down to Herceg Novi and follows the shore of the Bay of Kotor. Most drivers use the Kamenari–Lepetane car ferry across the narrows at Verige, which cuts out the long loop around Kotor and Risan. After the ferry the route continues via Tivat and Budva before the short final stretch to Becici and Przno. Expect winding coastal road for much of the way, with the bay on one side and steep slopes on the other. Without delays the drive is around two hours, but the border and ferry can add significant time.
Practical tips for this Dubrovnik–Becici route
Carry your passport in hand luggage, not the boot — you'll show it at the Croatia–Montenegro crossing, and everyone in the car must be present. Border queues at Debeli Brijeg peak in July and August and on summer weekend mornings, so allow extra time before flights; the return leg is where delays most often catch travellers out. Montenegro uses the euro but is outside the EU, so check your travel insurance and any car-hire cross-border rules if you were considering driving yourself. Mobile roaming is charged separately from Croatia. The Kamenari ferry runs frequently and is usually quick, but in peak season the queue can build. Confirm your hotel's exact location — Becici, Rafailovići and Przno each have separate access roads, and some resort entrances are set back from the beachfront.
