Private transfer from Dalaman Airport to Oludeniz
Door-to-door transfer from Dalaman Airport to Oludeniz with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Oludeniz is known for
Oludeniz sits on a small bay south of Fethiye, and most visitors come for two things: the Blue Lagoon, a sheltered strip of turquoise water inside a protected sandbar, and Belcekiz beach, the pebble-and-sand main beach lined with cafes. It is also one of the best-known paragliding spots in the world, with tandem flights launching from Babadag mountain (around 1,900 m) and landing beside the seafront. Families and couples fill the resort from May to October; hikers use it as the western end of the Lycian Way. Just uphill are the party-oriented villages of Hisaronu and Ovacik, while the abandoned Greek village of Kayakoy and boat trips to Butterfly Valley are short excursions nearby.
The drive from Dalaman to Oludeniz
The route runs roughly 55 km and usually takes around an hour. From the airport you join the D400 towards Fethiye, an easy dual-lane road through farmland and the greenhouse country around Dalaman and Ortaca. After skirting Fethiye you climb inland towards Ovacik and Hisaronu, then drop down the final stretch to the coast. The last few kilometres are the memorable part: a steep, winding descent with sharp bends and long sea views opening up as you approach the bay. Traffic through Fethiye and up the hill can slow you in July and August, particularly late afternoon. Drivers know the resort layout, so ask to be taken to your specific hotel rather than the central beach car park.
Practical tips for this transfer
Many Oludeniz hotels are on the steep lanes above the beach in Ovacik and Hisaronu rather than at the shore, so have your exact hotel name and area ready; the three neighbourhoods are close but not the same drop-off. If your booking is for a villa on the Kayakoy side, mention it, as access roads there are narrow. Nights get cool from October, and the winding descent is far more comfortable in daylight, so a daytime flight makes the arrival easier. Bring water for the ride in high summer. On departure, allow extra time to climb back out of the bay before the D400, and confirm your pickup the evening before rather than counting on hotel reception to relay the time.
