Many old-town and marina-side hotels sit on pedestrianised lanes where vehicles cannot reach the door, so expect a short walk with luggage from the nearest drop-off point. In peak summer the D400 and the town approaches slow noticeably around evening arrivals. There is no rail link, and taxis from the airport are costly, which makes a pre-booked door-to-door transfer the simplest option. Bring water for the mountain section, and if you head on to Turunç, confirm the extra distance when booking.
