Private transfer from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport to Rimini
Door-to-door transfer from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport to Rimini with professional driver, fixed price and flight monitoring included.
What Rimini offers along the Adriatic
Rimini's beachfront runs for kilometres of numbered bathing stations (the bagni), busiest from June to early September with families and teenagers. Marina Centro sits behind the Grand Hotel made famous by Federico Fellini, who was born here; the Fellini Museum and Ponte di Tiberio are in the old town, along with the Arco d'Augusto and the small streets of Borgo San Giuliano with its painted murals. Night owls head to clubs around the marina and up the coast toward Riccione. Day-trippers use Rimini as a base for San Marino, Santarcangelo di Romagna, and the Italia in Miniatura park. Off-season, from October to April, the promenade quietens and prices drop, but the historic centre and restaurants stay open year-round.
The drive down the A14 to the coast
The route is motorway almost the whole way. From Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport the driver joins the ring road and picks up the A14 heading south-east toward Ancona, following the flat Emilia-Romagna plain roughly parallel to the coast. The journey covers around 120 kilometres and normally takes about an hour and a quarter with clear roads. Rimini has two exits: Rimini Nord for the fair district and northern beaches, and Rimini Sud for Miramare, the airport zone and southern hotels. Tell your driver which bagno number or hotel you need, as the seafront is long. The final stretch into Marina Centro and the old town involves ordinary town streets, and in summer traffic near the promenade slows things down noticeably.
Practical tips for this transfer
Give the exact bagno number or the street address rather than just "Rimini beach", since the seafront hotels are packed tightly and access roads run one-way in the resort grid. If you are staying near the old town or Borgo San Giuliano, expect a short walk from a drop-off point, as some streets are pedestrian or too narrow for cars. Book a return pickup early if you land during the Ferragosto peak in mid-August, when the A14 fills with holiday traffic. Rimini also has its own small Fellini Airport at Miramare, so confirm you are flying into Bologna, not there. For groups heading on to San Marino, ask about that as an add-on rather than a separate taxi later.
