There is no winding mountain descent here; the last few kilometres are simply slower local roads through built-up resort areas with numerous side turnings.

Many holiday houses and residences sit in gridded developments where satnav struggles; a phone number for the host or a pin location saves time on arrival. In July and August the town's central streets and seafront are pedestrianised or heavily congested, so agree a realistic drop-off point rather than expecting to reach the door. If you plan to explore beyond the beaches, note that public transport here is thin outside summer, so consider arranging your return transfer in advance rather than relying on finding one locally.
