The town itself is small: the main draw is the Okurcalar weekly market, a big open-air bazaar selling textiles, spices and fake-brand goods that pulls in day-trippers from surrounding resorts. Incekum beach and its pine-backed cove are a short drive east toward Avsallar. There is no old town or marina here — people come for the beach, the pools and easy access to Alanya and Side excursions rather than for sightseeing in the village.

From Antalya Airport you head east on the D400, the coastal highway that carries almost all traffic along this shore. The route runs through the Aksu and Serik plains, then past the Side and Manavgat turnoffs, staying mostly flat and dual-carriageway with the Taurus mountains inland on your left and farmland and greenhouses either side. Expect around 105 kilometres and roughly 90 minutes, longer in peak summer when traffic near Manavgat and the Side junctions backs up. The final stretch is straightforward: the D400 passes directly by the Okurcalar hotel entrances, so there is no winding mountain approach or narrow streets. Drivers turn off the highway onto short access roads that lead straight to individual hotel gates.

Because Okurcalar is a cluster of large complexes with several near-identical names, give your driver the exact hotel name and, if possible, the resort's road access — some hotels sit on the beach side and others across the D400, which changes the drop-off point. Have your booking reference and room details ready, as hotel security often checks arrivals at the gate. The highway has no useful public transport link to the resorts, so a private transfer avoids a two-leg trip via Manavgat or Alanya bus stations. For late-night flights, note the drive is around 90 minutes with few stops, so use airport facilities before setting off.
