Al Massira Airport sits inland, southeast of the city near Temsia, roughly 25 km from the seafront. The route runs mostly on the N10 and then the fast road toward Agadir, flat and open through farmland and argan scrub rather than mountains, so it is an easy 30 to 40 minutes with no winding sections. As you approach, the road drops toward the bay and traffic thickens near Founty and the hotel zone. Drivers reaching seafront hotels on Boulevard du 20 Août or the Marina cover the last stretch on well-signed avenues. If your accommodation is in the newer residential districts inland, such as Dcheira or Ait Melloul on the way in, the transfer can be slightly shorter than reaching the far northern beach hotels.

Agadir's hotel zone stretches for several kilometres along the beach, so give the exact hotel name and the section (Founty, Marina, or the northern Boulevard du 20 Août end) when booking — a vague "beachfront" can add ten minutes of searching. Many large resorts have a single guarded entrance set back from the road, so tell your driver if you're arriving late. The airport is compact but taxi touts wait outside; a pre-booked driver meeting you inside avoids the negotiation. Carry small dirham notes for tips and any beach-day extras, as card use is patchy in the Souk El Had and taxis. If you plan day trips to Taghazout, Paradise Valley or Taroudant, arrange them separately; those routes leave the coastal grid and take considerably longer.
